Mindful Stitches
This group was created from the combination of my love for meditation and mindfulness, and also my passion for sewing and craft. I have attended craft groups where there is much chatter of the negative kind, which I appreciate for some is therapy, but for me leaves my sense of well being lowered.
If you are like me, and prefer to not publicaly talk negative of others, and you love stitching (knit, sew, crochet, embroider, beading..... the list goes on), and would love to meet other like minded people, please do come along.
The sessions are held monthly at West Mersea WI Hall (after meditation class) and are just £2 to contribute to the cost of the hall and refreshments.
The first session was on Thursday 9th February 2023 .... I am so delighted we have been running for almost a year.
The next three dates are
Thursday 11th January 2024
Thursday 8th February 2024
and Thursday 14th March 2024
All sessions are 12noon to 1.45pm
Please bring along what ever craft project you are working on and the equipment you need to work on it.
There will be people there of all levels of ability and experience, so whether you are able and willing to share expertise, or a novice and struggling to master an aspect of your new craft, do not worry, I would love you to be part of this beautiful group.
PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW YOU ARE COMING so I can plan for refreshments and seating.
