This Sunday is Mothers day - and also the day our clocks leap forward an hour. If you are lucky enough to have a mother - enjoy her company, call her, make something for her, or just tell her you love her. If your mum is not with you any more, then light a candle and honour her memory - she is always there.
The promise of warmer days and then the chilly nights often brings forth colds. I have treated quite a number of colds with Gelsemium in the last few weeks. A person needing the homeopathic remedy Gelsemium may display the symptoms of shivery chills, heavy drooping eye lids, heavy sensation in the head, and although feeling cold, may prefer fresh air, or feel better for fresh air. They may have yellow mucous that is hard to clear from the nose. The cough may be dry - but become loose in the chest.*
Please do check you have some in your remedy kit.
If you have not already done so, the spring as a good time to start a cleanse, or get your eating back on track. Why not give your self a break from alcohol, heavy carbs and sugars for a week and enjoy lots of light protein and salad meals and fresh fruit snacks. You should notice your energy levels rise and your mood lighten too.
As the days become brighter, we often find ourselves doing more too - and taking time out for a little rest can become difficult. For that reason, I am offering my lovely clients a special mothers day Reiki Special. Book one Reiki Session and receive a voucher for a half price treatment for either your self or a loved one (it can be your mum - or any one you care about). This special offer is only valid from now until 7th April, so book now if you would like to snap up the bargain - (the 1/2 price voucher will be valid for a month).
Happy Mothers Day
