In this post, I will share a summary of the top common remedies for this situations. It is by no means a complete list, but is a guide to some of the easy to get hold of remedies that you may have in your remedy kit. If you would like to learn more, in depth practical information about using Homeopathy at home for yourself and your family, please get in touch for details of my workshops on Homeopathy ( I will be running both in person and on-line workshops again next year).
There is a cross over with many of these conditions, but first, lets look at the simple anxiety remedies that will help you as a parent or family member about health.
If you are panic stricken, and full of fear and fright, consider taking aconite to help soothe the adrenal stress and focus more calmly.
If you find yourself thinking “what if” this or that, then I would strongly suggest taking some arg-nit.
If you are not sure, then I find the blend AAA that I make for my clients a really good option for anxiety and fear.
As always, this is not a diagnosis, and always seek the help of a medical practitioner / professional.
My go to first aid support for colds and flu’s is my remedy blend AGE. If you have this at home, use it as soon as someone goes down with a bug for everyone in the house. You can also use this as a first stop to treat. Some times the remedies will stop the cold / flu / fever etc, sometimes the ailment will need to run its course, but the “patient” will feel okay within themselves during the recovery period.
If there is no improvement at all after a few doses (about 1/2 hour apart initially) it may be time to change remedy. I do offer text / FB messenger acute appointments if needed out of hours, please message for availability if you need support (you are not alone).
